You can’t be too rich, too thin or have too much mulch.  That’s my addition to the saying.  Then a tree company doing work in the neighborhood asked me if I wanted mulch.  YES!

It took lots of work spreading it because first the weeds had to be pulled.  Later I found that digging them out lasted much longer.

The center circle of the driveway was especially difficult.  So many weed seeds are still there.

At least I finished this one and the next before the hosta came up.

Now it’s winter and there’s about a third of the pile left.  Still using it for the areas the deer muddied up.

So grateful for that wonderful gift!
