Last fall I moved my Serrano pepper in the house for the winter.  Then I left it for a month without water.  When I returned all the leaves were brown, but I started watering it again.  Eventually it began to come back.  After moving it outside in the spring it started looking alive again.  Then it burst into many blooms and little peppers began to appear.  These are the ones I picked yesterday.

Previously I have picked several for various dishes.  It seemed so overloaded that I thought picking a few would help the rest get bigger.

It is still abundant with little peppers and blooms.

It will keep me supplied all summer and into the fall.  Wonder if I should try for another year?

2. Those look delicious. Amazed to learn they are so hearty and able to survive and even flourish after a month without water.
