The only ingredients in this recipe are grapes and chia seeds.  The kind of grapes doesn’t matter as long as they are organic.  I’ve never used seeded grapes but think they would work since the seeds are edible and good for you too.

After washing and pulling the grapes off the stems, I put them in a high-speed blender.

Then I put them in a saucepan large enough so they won’t splash out as they cook down to a thick consistency.

(The two pictures above are red grapes, the rest are green.)

IMG_2019,

When I first made this I cooked the grapes down before putting them in the blender.  It is easier for me to blend them first.

I like to cook them down to a thick consistency before adding the chia seeds.  This is up to personal preferences.

The heat can be turned off at this point.  After adding the chia seeds stir and wait at least 5 minutes before adding any more.

If you want it thicker add a little more.  Stir and wait five minutes.

When it’s the right consistency spoon it into sterilized jars.  I put one in the refrigerator and the rest in the freezer.

Because the sweetness of the grapes is concentrated you won’t want to add sugar.

So easy!  So delicious!
