My neighbors, who are both talented gardeners, had problems with tomato plants last year. They had tall tomato cages, but the plants still grew above and beyond their limits. So Chris, who owns Craven’s Landscaping, devised what he hopes will be a solution. His tomato tunnel is a unique approach to tomato plant support.
Since this is the trial year they are trying different plants underneath. A second planting of fall crops will be grow in the shade of the tomatoes.
Eager to watch it grow as the summer progresses. Updates will follow.
Jake, the resident dog, will be watching too. Here he is covered with mint to keep the gnats away.
